Course overview
For pilots who hold a non-EASA ATPL and wish to convert to an EASA ATPL, this pathway summarizes the European knowledge and experience expectations. Theory preparation is delivered with the same live, one-to-one model as our ATPL program.
Requirements — multi-pilot type rated pilots
- Hold a valid ICAO ATPL with a multi-pilot type rating.
- Meet EASA ATPL experience requirements.
- Pass all 13 ATPL theoretical exams.
- Obtain an EASA Class One medical.
- Pass an EASA ATPL skills test in a multi-pilot simulator.
Requirements — fixed-wing pilots (experience benchmarks)
- Minimum 1,500 hours total time (typical EASA pathway context), including:
- 500 hours on multi-pilot aircraft
- 250 hours as PIC (or equivalent)
- 200 hours cross-country
- 75 hours instrument
- 100 hours night
Medical certificate
- Not required for the theoretical knowledge course, but required for license issuance.
