Ground school
Ground school is the theory-based part of pilot training. Students study aviation subjects aligned with their regulator's syllabus—often including principles of flight, navigation, meteorology, human performance, and air law—before sitting knowledge exams. Ground school can be delivered in person at a flight school or online through live instructor-led programs.
